Seen from the foot of the bed, the headboard line looks light without feeling crowded. The construction feels considered and works with more than one bedding style. The design works with both our older furniture and newer pieces. The instructions were brief in a couple of places, but the parts were easy to identify. Those small points aside, it has been a very good addition.

Once we had opened the curtains, the finish gave the room a more settled, complete look. The headboard shows above the pillows without taking over the wall. It has enough character to be memorable without dictating the decor.

After I cleared the extra decor, I noticed how naturally the finish settles into the room. Substantial in person without looking heavy.
