Centering it on the wall made the whole arrangement click, and the overall effect is refined but not at all fussy. The size is ideal for our foyer and still leaves plenty of walking room. The shape is simple, but the small details make it feel special. It is elegant, useful, and exactly what I hoped for.

Finding a piece with this balance of style and function was not easy; the proportions give the wall exactly the right amount of presence. We placed it behind the sofa and the proportions are spot on. There was a tiny rub mark on one edge, but it is barely noticeable once styled. The color and finish are easy to mix with the furniture we already own. The look is timeless and I can see us enjoying it for years.
