We at collection are known for our furnishings in personable wood that we responsibly source from the jungles of Asia. The iron-topped teak console table has a base we鈥檝e rescued from being one of nature鈥檚 finest castaways by making it into an elemental design statement. Several design distinctions of note on this wood and metal console table are the natural graining on the surface of the wood, the base鈥檚 organic shape, and how perfectly the iron top cantilevers from the woodblock are. The console table reflects the ethos that Phillips Collection personifies: modern organic.

Manageable where it matters, the piece keeps the room feeling calm even with decorative objects displayed. I am using it by the front door and it makes the whole area feel more pulled together. The natural variation gives it character and keeps it from looking mass produced. It arrived well packed and all of the parts were protected. Overall, this was a great choice for our home.

Usability is one of the strongest aspects, and the piece fits the space comfortably and leaves plenty of walking room. The grain is beautiful and the finish feels warm without looking orange.

Moving it into place showed how well the scale works; the piece adds structure to the space while still feeling welcoming. The wood tone has a lot of depth and looks richer in person than it did online.
