Evenings make me notice a different detail; the construction is sturdy enough for daily use and careful styling. It gave our hallway the finished look it was missing. The finish is smooth and the proportions are very well balanced. It has a reassuring weight and feels built to last. The look is timeless and I can see us enjoying it for years.

Shortlisting this design made the final choice simple; the finish has more depth in person than it did online. The packaging was a bit messy to unpack, but it protected the piece very well.
