Fitting it into a narrow area was easier than expected. What stands out now is that the restrained design lets the materials and proportions do the work. It has enough presence for our large entry without looking bulky. The wood has a solid, substantial feel and the finish is very well done. The construction feels solid and the piece sits level on our floor.

Dimensions caught my attention right away; the clean profile adds polish while keeping the space open.

Restrained from every angle, it works especially well in a space that needed a little structure. The scale is substantial and looks balanced on a wide living room wall. There was a mild new-furniture smell at first, and it disappeared after a couple of days. The wood has a solid, substantial feel and the finish is very well done. It is elegant, useful, and exactly what I hoped for.
