Originally conceived for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Stadium, this is a powerful ring of light that ennobles the public space. Its conceptual precursor can be found in the large wrought iron chandeliers with sequentially repeated light fittings common in medieval castles and cathedrals. A tubular structure forms the frame, the visible sides of which are composed of sections of glass pav茅.
