This late 19 century Chinese altar table with everted ends features 4 pairs hand carved clouds spandrels on both front and back. The restoration to this antique table from countryside of Shanxi Province is kept to minimum intentionally. The original one slab top showing deep wood lines, cracks and aged natural wood color can only be created by passing of time. Solid construction, naturally aged wood showing age proper patinas, dents, knots, lines, spots, and wear and tears.
