This early 19 century antique Chinese 3 drawers chest showcases exquisite hand-carved drawer fronts and sides. Dark brown earth-tone color and rich patina developed over 200 years grace the hand-carved flowers and entire chest console table. The structure and surface restoration were very minimal. Only wax paste is applied to the exterior. This rare table will be an excellent console table, chest, or accent table in the living room, dining room, study room, stairway, or hallway entry.

Admiring it from across the room has become a daily habit; the room looks more pulled together with very little additional styling. It fits our narrow hallway without making the space feel crowded. The wood tone has a lot of depth and looks richer in person than it did online. It is elegant, useful, and exactly what I hoped for.

Anthony Powell

Sculptural in person without feeling overdone, the piece works especially well in a space that needed a little structure. The size works beautifully in the short wall beside our front door. One small area of the grain is more pronounced than expected, but it adds character. The natural variation gives it character and keeps it from looking mass produced.
