This early 19 century antique Chinese 2 drawers chest showcases exquisite hand-carved drawer fronts and sides. Aged earth-tone color and rich patina developed over 200 years grace the hand-carved flowers and entire chest console table. The structure and surface restoration were very minimal. Only wax paste is applied to the exterior. This rare table will be an excellent console table, chest, or accent table in the living room, dining room, study room, stairway, or hallway entry.

Slender from every angle, it looks substantial while keeping the room visually open. It fits our narrow hallway without making the space feel crowded. The wood tone has a lot of depth and looks richer in person than it did online. It took some time to get everything perfectly aligned, but the result looks great. It feels sturdy once in place and does not wobble at all. It makes the whole room feel more finished.
