The side supporting the white glass diffusers like peas in a pod has a handsome, dark vintage brass finish, while the reverse has been soaked until a beautiful, smooth natural black. Striking and minimal, with evocations of both mid-century modernism and nature, the product is powerful and unique, like its namesake.

Martyns collection for Corbett Lighting encompasses his unique aesthetic along with his love of all places and periods of decorative style. It's a collection for today, inspired by the past as well as the future. Designer quote: Lighting is one of the most important elements of a room. It is not only the finishing decorative touch but how the actual light emanating from the fixtures affects the entire feeling of the space, creating both ambiance and romance. When asked to create a collection for Corbett, I wanted to design fixtures that grabbed the imagination: pieces that would not only fill a space with perfect lighting but would become the focal point of the spaces they will live in. Statements that are at once beautiful, thought-provoking, and provide just the right amount of magic. It's a collection that gives the final user complete decorative freedom to stamp their own personality on their interiors across the broad spectrum of designs. It's a collection for today, inspired by the past as well as the future. As always, live, love, and decorate...

Practical spacing gave the ceiling definition while keeping the rest of the kitchen island visually calm. We installed it above the kitchen island, and it fits the area well. The open wheel design feels substantial but not bulky. It is a bit lighter in weight than I pictured, yet it looks substantial once hung. It has quickly become the focal point of the room.

Controlled mounting made the fixture feel secure and allowed the evenly spaced arms to read clearly from below. It went over the game table, and the scale turned out to be a good match. During the day, the generous number of lights suits a larger room very well. Assembly was manageable and the fixture felt secure once mounted. The materials look good from both close up and across the room. Definitely recommend checking the measurements first!
