Durability was the first thing we noticed, and the scale felt comfortable rather than oversized. The proportions make it easy to live with. The wood tone is warm and easy to coordinate with other furniture. The design is simple but not boring.

Remarkably, this is one of those pieces that makes more sense in person; the quality was easier to appreciate up close. The finish and scale feel thoughtfully chosen. The top has enough weight to feel substantial without appearing bulky. It feels built for years of meals rather than occasional use. It has been a very satisfying purchase.
