Dually inspired, this modern take on a classic French trestle table recalls the vaulted ceiling of Musee D鈥橭rsay, a former Beaux-Arts railway station, and the elegance of a slipper with the same name. Balanced on its champagne gold metal frame, an expansive tabletop warms the room with richly grained, tupelo veneers in an Otter finish. Expands to 112鈥 with a single leaf for impromptu parties and surprise dinner guests.

Curiously, nothing about the final arrangement felt forced; the dining area gained a calm and polished focal point. The design works well for both daily meals and guests. It arrived securely packed and the visible surfaces were well protected. The proportions look balanced from every side of the room. We are genuinely pleased with how it turned out.

Company often can sit comfortably without the room feeling packed, and the proportions continue to work well in daily use. The proportions make it easy to live with. Our chairs slide in easily and everyone has comfortable knee room. It arrived securely packed and the visible surfaces were well protected. It looks more expensive than I expected.
