Look feels especially well judged in person because the design balances appearance with everyday usefulness. The design works well for both daily meals and guests. Our chairs slide in easily and everyone has comfortable knee room. The piece has presence without becoming the only thing you notice in the room. I am glad we took a chance on this one.

Remarkably, the first impression was strong because the proportions are easy to live with every day. The proportions make it easy to live with. It has become our regular spot for dinners, homework, and weekend projects. The scale leaves a comfortable walkway around the seating area. It arrived securely packed and the visible surfaces were well protected.
