A prominent table, designed to be the centrepiece in the contemporary living space. Calla features a base that resembles a flower 鈥 robust yet light, it consists of two metal blades which, as petals do, interlock, creating a chalice shape that opens out upwards, alluding to vitality and rebirth.

Surface really stands out once the piece is in place; the extra seating flexibility is genuinely useful when guests visit. The extra seating flexibility has already been helpful. Opening it for guests is straightforward, and the additional space is genuinely useful. The finish is easy to wipe down after normal meals. It feels sturdy enough for daily use but does not make the space look heavy. The finished result has been worth it.
