Originally imagined for the Audo, the luxurious armchair-lounge chair hybrid offers unparalleled sitting comfort thanks to its robust frame and soft upholstery. "The mood directly inspired the design at the Audo. There was something about the setting 鈥 wooden sculptures, calm ambiance, and welcoming colors 鈥 that made us think of more exotic variations of modernism rather than our own familiar Scandinavian roots," note designers Torbjorn Anderssen and Espen Voll. Made using traditional joinery techniques, the wooden frame is characterized by exaggerated armrests, cylindrical legs at the front, and broad, wooden boards at the back, lending the chair personality and its distinctive look. The cushioning seat and backrest add to the sense of ease. The versatile footrest is a seat for unexpected guests or a resting place for a newspaper or tray.

Textiles are dyed individually, which can cause slight variations in color from batch to batch. Sheepskin: Thickness (17 - 21 mm). The skin has a natural curliness but the structure of the wool can vary in curliness and color tone.
- Dunes: Aniline leather; thickness (1.1 鈥 1.3 mm). Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification. This soft, premium-quality leather is made from high-end raw hides. Aniline leather is 鈥榥ude,鈥 meaning it displays visible surface marks that reflect the life of the cow 鈥 including fat wrinkles, scars, and bite marks. These subtle, natural markings bring a unique quality to each hide. Furthermore, slight color variations are visible as hides react differently to the tanning process. These characteristics will become more pronounced as the leather ages. With open pores similar to that of human skin, the temperature of the leather will adjust to match that of the human body, offering additional comfort for the user when seated. Audo uses aniline leather due to its natural appearance and tactile handle that improves with use.
