Understated as a focal point, it remains versatile because the visible grain gives the piece a natural, lived-in character. The finish and scale feel thoughtfully chosen. The darker wood adds contrast while remaining easy to style. The design is simple but not boring.

Setup went more smoothly than expected, while the visible grain gives the piece a natural, lived-in character. The finish and scale feel thoughtfully chosen. The grain looks sophisticated and works especially well in evening light. It feels sturdy enough for daily use but does not make the space look heavy. It has become our regular spot for dinners, homework, and weekend projects. The finished result has been worth it.
