This tabletop is heavy, and it sits on an overbuilt pedestal with steel-reinforced, outswept saber legs, terminating in solid brass-capped feet and levelers. This custom design offers homeowners extraordinary "floor to table" clearance; therefore, the table has generous room for armchairs and taller guests. The table has a NATURAL finish, which is a clear lacquer topcoat, and the mahogany's natural colors exhibit amber, orange, reddish browns, and darker brown tannins. The flame mahogany tabletop has a fine black and white inlay.
