Simple shape looked especially good once the fixture was viewed from the main doorway. It went in the home office, and the scale turned out to be a good match. After installation, it adds useful light while keeping the ceiling visually open. Hanging it was a two-person job, but nothing was unusually difficult. It gives off a comfortable amount of light without feeling harsh. The finish is slightly different under warm bulbs, so bulb choice matters. We are happy with the final result.
